Nieuwe GD MK4

Garner Douglas MK4 is een hoog segment replica van een Cobra 427. De vorm en maten zijn exact gelijk aan het origineel!
Het gaat nu om een nieuw gebouwde links gestuurde rolling chassis. Dus je hebt nog vrije keuze wat motor en bak betreft. Er zit een pedalbox (instelbaar gescheiden remsysteem) in met 3 pedalen, dus zowel automaat als schakelbak is mogelijk. Het buizenchassis is goedgekeurd tot 1.000pk, er zijn dus mogelijkheden genoeg.

Auto is uitgevoerd met grote AP remmen, deels uniball wielophanging (dubbele draagarm) met grote aircraft grade aluminium fusees met grote lagers. Met deze wielophanging in combinatie met volledig instelbare dempers is de auto perfect af te stellen voor iedere rijstijl. De 18 inch aluminium 3-delige velgen maken de auto helemaal af.

Het chassis is compleet en afgebouwd, moet alleen nog gepolijst en gepoetst worden.

Ideale auto voor op circuit (licht gewicht en veel vermogen), maar is ook makkelijk op kenteken te krijgen. Auto heeft al een chassisnummer, en na een bezoek aan Garner Douglas voor controle is Engels kenteken een formaliteit.

Auto is compleet nieuw opgebouwd, dus geen donor auto aan te pas gekomen.




New built GD MK4

The Garner Douglas MK4 is a high segment replica of a Cobra 427. The shape and size are the same as the original!
This car is a completely new built left hand drive rolling chassis. So you have a free choice of engine & gearbox. Car is fitted with a pedalbox (dual circuit with bias) with 3 pedals, so automatic & manual gearbox is still possible. The tubular frame is approved till 1.000Bhp

The car has big AP brakes, wheel suspension (double wishbone) is fitted with lots of uniballs and big aircraft grade aluminium hubs with big bearings. With this suspension in combination with the fully adjustable dampers the car can be set up perfectly for every drivingstyle. The 18” aluminium 3-piece rims make the car complete.

The rolling chassis is complete and finished, all it needs be cleaned and polished.

Ideal car for racing/circuit (lightweigt and lots of power), but also can be made roadlegal. Car already has a chassisnumber, and after a visit to Garner Douglas for checks you the English license plates are a formality.

Car is completely new built, so no donor car was used.
