Meticulously restored, this Mercedes has undergone a comprehensive body and mechanical rejuvenation, preserving its authenticity while ensuring practicality for modern use.
Adorned in its original DB180 Metallic Silver paint, complemented by a red leather interior, this 190 SL looks as breathtaking as ever. The restoration process included a full respray and underbody restoration to exacting original standards. Remarkably, being from a wet state, the car suffered minimal rust, allowing the retention of its original spot welds and intricate details throughout the restoration.
A new soft top, matching the car's MB data card specifications in 872 Rubber Black, has been skillfully fitted, and the interior has been meticulously restored, with original components retained where possible. Completing the interior is a new red carpet set in the correct boucle weave.
The restoration extended to the mechanical components, ensuring the Mercedes's reliability. Both front and rear subframes were preserved during the process, guaranteeing a seamless fit for all body parts. All necessary seals, gaskets, and bushes were replaced, and the vehicle now boasts classic white wall tires and has undergone a full servicing to be ready for its next fortunate owner.
