Special Racing Bike – 1991 Cagiva Mito frame with a Yamaha RD350 YPVS engine rebuilt to close to 400cc bu boring it and installing Yamaha TZ750 pistons.
Front end (forks, brakes, calipers, and wheel) from a Suzuki RGV Gamma 250.
Hand-built custom expansion chambers.
Bodywork is reinforced fiberglass, with the front section derived from a Yamaha 250GP.
Rear section uses an original Cagiva Mito tail, modified and adapted.
The bike has only done a few miles since completion, which was finished in 2025.
It has a custom (simplified) new wiring harness (including ignition coil) mated to a Zeeltronic programmable ECU.
The paint scheme is a tribute to the iconic Kenny Roberts Yamaha 500GP and is in very nice condition.
The original Cagiva Mito seat has been reupholstered and made slightly thicker at the front for a better riding position.
Weight is approximately 276 lbs dry and just under 298 lbs track-ready (with fluids and battery).
The engine makes around 80 hp, currently set up with relatively rich jetting.
