The Rolls-Royce Dawn, unveiled in 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, embodies the art of open-top grand touring according to the Goodwood-based manufacturer.
Designed as the worthy successor to the Wraith, it draws inspiration from its predecessor without copying it, nearly 80% of the body panels were redesigned to give the Dawn its own identity, one that is more fluid and sensual.
Under its long bonnet lies a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering 571 horsepower with a whisper of silk.
Combined with an eight-speed GPS-guided ZF automatic transmission, it propels the 2.5-tonne vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in less than five seconds, without ever disturbing the imperial calm of the cabin.
The name Dawn evokes the moment when light is born and everything begins again.
This four-seater convertible was designed as an invitation to savour the dawn, with the top down, in an almost mystical silence.
