Overdrive Automobile est fier de proposer à la vente l’un des 1 963 exemplaires de la Porsche 996 « 40e Anniversaire », sortie en 2003 pour célébrer les 40 ans de la 911 !
Cette série spéciale dispose d’équipements exclusifs propre à cette série spéciale qui en font une des 996 les plus recherchées : Bouclier avant des 996 Turbo et 4S avec grilles peintes dans la couleur de la carrosserie, bas de caisse GT3, jantes à 5 branches en finition polie, teinte carrosserie Gris Argent GT (couleur de l’hypercar Carrera GT) et surtout, sous le capot, l’adoption du kit X51 pour porter la puissance à 345 ch.
C’est la 996 Carrera 2S qui n’a jamais existé, très similaire à la 996 GT3 (exemplaires produits, performances très proches, ADN sportif, etc.) – et dont la valeur ne cesse d’augmenter !
L’habitacle profite lui aussi d’une touche d’exclusivité, avec un cuir naturel étendu gris foncé spécifique, des sièges sport chauffants avec coques peintes en couleur carrosserie, tout comme la console centrale, et le toit ouvrant électrique.
Notre exemplaire, qui porte le numéro 798, a une histoire particulière, puisqu’il a appartenu à un pilote de l’écurie officielle Porsche !

Overdrive Automobile is proud to offer for sale one of only 1,963 examples of the Porsche 996 ‘40th Anniversary’, released in 2003 to celebrate 40 years of the 911 !

This special edition features exclusive equipment unique to this special series, making it one of the most sought-after 996s: 996 Turbo and 4S front bumper with grilles painted in the body colour, GT3 side skirts, polished 5-spoke wheels, GT Silver Grey body colour (the colour of the Carrera GT hypercar) and, most importantly, under the bonnet, the X51 kit to boost power to 345 bhp.

This is the 996 Carrera 2S that never existed, very similar to the 996 GT3 (number of units produced, very similar performance, sporty DNA, etc.) – and its value continues to rise !

The interior also benefits from a touch of exclusivity, with special dark grey extended natural leather, heated sports seats with shells painted in the same colour as the bodywork, as well as the centre console and electric sunroof.

In terms of chassis, this anniversary 911 comes standard with 10 mm lower suspension and limited-slip differential ! Our model, numbered 798, has a special history, as it belonged to a driver from the official Porsche team !
