In near-new original condition, our 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta looks like it just rolled out of the dealership.

The mileage is 20,650 miles, or just 33,000 km, which is consistent with the condition of this Camaro. The Carfax report confirms this mileage with documented readings since 2007.

The chassis is sound, with no rust whatsoever, and the paint is largely original (only one fender has been repainted).

The interior is also like new — the fabric seats and carpets have retained their original color. All instruments are fully functional, as is the air conditioning, which blows cold perfectly. Note that the headliner is slightly sagging in a few small areas.

Mechanically, everything works perfectly. Behind the wheel, it truly feels like a healthy, very easy-to-drive car, especially with the power steering. We completed a 150 km drive with total ease.

A full mechanical service was recently carried out at Classic Drive for €1,500. Everything was checked: chassis lubrication, engine and gearbox oil changes, brake fluid flush, replacement of wheel cylinders, gearbox gasket and strainer, and front axle alignment (the steering wheel is now perfectly straight, unlike what you can see in the video).

The 4.4L V8 engine revs freely, idles steadily, and is perfectly suited for both small country roads and longer trips.

This Camaro Berlinetta is a true favorite thanks to its incredible condition and rarity. It’s a car that delivers plenty of driving pleasure with the sound of the V8, and remains very easy to drive for a nearly 45-year-old vehicle.
