Presented in 2007 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Aston Martin DBS embodies the most radical version derived from the DB9. Compared to the Aston Martin DB9 GT, it stands out with a more exclusive and sport-focused positioning. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 producing 517 hp, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, while benefiting from carbon-ceramic brakes and extensive carbon fiber components as standard, whereas the DB9 GT remains more grand touring oriented. Compared to the newer and more technological Aston Martin Vanquish, the DBS retains a more analog, purer and more compact approach, with controlled weight and a more attractive market value. It represents the ideal balance: sharper than a DB9 GT and more accessible than a Vanquish, while remaining one of the last great naturally aspirated Aston Martin V12 models with raw and timeless character.
