We are offering a beautiful Ferrari BB 512i in its original color configuration, Grigio Fer 700/C with black lower sections, contrasting with a Pelle Rossa interior. Delivered in December 1983 by Ferrari Charles Pozzi in Levallois to Pierre Séron, renowned cartoonist for the Spirou magazine, this car has always remained in France. Initially registered 809 JX 04, it moved in the nineties to a second owner on the French Riviera before being purchased in 2003 by Ferrari Cavallari in Monaco. It was then sold in 2007 in the Bordeaux region.

This BB 512i was certified by Ferrari Classiche in September 2010 while carrying the French registration 3241 TP 33, and it is interesting to note that its current registration under the new SIV system begins with the legendary letters BB. It changed hands twice again in 2015 after participating in numerous Ferrari outings and various classic car events, before joining its current owner in 2018, who also took part in several events including the Ferrari Cavalcade.

An exceptional file of invoices dating back to 2007 accompanies this BB 512i, totaling around €190,000 in various mechanical and cosmetic works to ensure the car was in the best possible ready-to-go condition. The odometer currently shows 104,600 kms. This car is matching colors and matching numbers, and we have its original service book in its pouch. It was serviced in December 2025 by the renowned firm Toni Auto in Maranello, with the replacement of the timing belts and its clutch is new.

At the end of the career of the charismatic Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, Ferrari and Pininfarina enter a new dimension with the new Ferrari 365 GT4 BB. Rear central engine, Flat 12 cylinder and a breathtaking design will characterize this new supercar which will crown the Ferrari range. But this model must evolve to survive in view of ever more stringent anti-pollution standards. After a few modifications, the Flat 12 cylinder engine derived from that of Formula 1 will receive an injection, giving birth to BB 512i, of which only 1,007 examples were produced until 1984.

The BB 512 was born at the Paris Motor Show in 1976 and produced until 1981. The line was modernized very slightly, the front shield inherited an aerodynamic spoiler which thus improved stability at high speed. We now find 4 headlights and 4 exhausts at the rear instead of the 6 of the 365. NACA airducts also appear in front of the rear wheel arches, in order to optimize brake cooling. The roof is slightly modified to better position the car on the ground and improve its handling.

The BB 512i undergoes a few additional modifications compared to the BB512: it benefits from two mirrors, the front indicators slide in the thin blade of the bumper, the wheels are larger. On the interior side, we note a cabin with rather generous standard equipment for the time (electric windows, air conditioning) and also a car radio in two parts on each side of the cockpit. Essential accessories from Ferrari, we find the three-spoke Momo steering wheel stamped with Cavallino and the gear lever, from the top of its angled chrome rod, still slides in the legendary H-shaped metal grille.

The name 512 is well tought, in fact the 12-cylinder Boxer engine of the BB saw its displacement increase to 5 liters by a slight increase in the bore, but above all thanks to a new crankshaft which made it possible to lengthen the stroke by almost 10%, allowing it to develop 340 hp and approach 186 mph at top speed. The car also reaches 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds.
