246 GT L
The Ferrari Dino 246 GT stands as one of the purest expressions of Maranello’s golden era an unmistakable blend of balance, beauty, and mechanical poetry.
Presented here is a rare L Series example from 1970, chassis 00914, belonging to the very first production run of the 246 GT.
With only around 350 units produced, the L Series is widely regarded as the most desirable iteration retaining delicate early features inherited from the 206 GT, including center-lock wheels and finer, more lightweight construction details.
At its heart lies a jewel-like 2.4-liter V6, mounted in a transverse mid-engine layout an architecture directly inspired by Ferrari’s racing pedigree.
Delivering 195 horsepower through a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Dino offers a driving experience defined not by brute force, but by precision, sound, and fluidity.
Weighing just over a ton, the Dino achieves a remarkable harmony between chassis and engine, making it one of the most engaging analog driving machines of its time.
Its sculptural bodywork, penned by Aldo Brovarone at Pininfarina, remains an icon of automotive design timeless, elegant, and instantly recognizable.
Chassis 00914 embodies everything collectors seek, early production rarity, mechanical purity, and a direct connection to Ferrari’s racing DNA.
A car that is not only to be admired, but truly experienced.
Any more pictures, under the car, video calling, do not hesitate.
