The 2014 Bentley Continental GT is the sportier V8 version of the brand’s famous grand tourer. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, with cylinder deactivation allowing the engine to run on four cylinders under light loads. On the outside it can be recognised by the red B badges and figure-eight shaped exhaust tips. The interior stands out with classic Bentley details such as round air vents with pull knobs, metal rotary switches and deep carpeting. A nice detail is that this was Bentley’s first completely new V8 since the legendary 6.75-litre of the 1950s.

De Bentley Continental GT uit 2014 is de sportievere V8-variant van Bentleys beroemde grand tourer. De aandrijving verloopt via een achttraps automaat naar vier wielen, met cilinderuitschakeling die de motor bij lage belasting op vier cilinders laat lopen. Uiterlijk herken je hem aan de rode B-emblemen en de uitlaatpijpen in de vorm van een acht. Het interieur valt op door klassieke Bentley-details zoals ronde ventilatieroosters met trekknoppen, metalen draaiknoppen en dik tapijt. Leuk detail: dit was de eerste volledig nieuwe V8 van Bentley sinds de legendarische 6,75-liter uit de jaren vijftig.
