Launched in the early 2000s, the Aston Martin DB9 Phase 1 marked a true renaissance for the Gaydon-based brand. As the first model built on the aluminum VH platform, it ushered in a new technological era while preserving the heritage of the great DB models. In 2009, this Phase 1 reached its full technical maturity, just before the arrival of the Phase 2.
