1988 M3 e30 fully restored
Beautiful fresh restored "Alpinweiss" BMW M3 E30 with matching black leather interior. Powered by the BMW 4 cylinder in-line, cast iron S14 - 2.3 engine. A true racing engine. A derivate of the 1983 F1 championship engine. (producing 1400 bhp in a Brabham BT52). With 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts, Bosch motronic and individual throttle bodies. Producing 200 bhp. Attached to a 5 speed dogleg manual gearbox with a limited slip differential (LSD - 25%), reduced ride height and stiffer springs. ABS system with disk brakes all around the car. Also equipped with airco.
This particular E30 M3 was imported during 2002 into Spain were it was part of a private collection, freshly restored in Belgium (2015/2016) 10.000 km ago in all its details & returned to Spain again.
After 193000 kms of reliable service this M3 has undergone a full rebuild. Engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and body have been restored into a new condition. With respect for originality. It has a spotless paint job in the original color and side skirts in the correct mat white paint. Several pictures proof all the work undertaken on the car. The M3 comes with all its original and complete toolkit, spare tire and jack.
If you take the effort to sit down on your knee and take a look at the bottom of the car .......... Well that tells it all. It looks spotless with all nuts and bolts replaced, new backaxle, new brakes and new suspension. And supplied without a sliding roof that even makes it more special.
The M3 E30 was based on the 2-door standard E30. But the M3 body is complete different. With his box flared front and rear fenders, 4 cm higher placed luggage lid with spoiler, extra aerodynamic design and its wider tires. This car even makes you enthusiastic when parked and this almost 30 years after its presentation. And then we even didn't mention its performances and the screaming engine.
A unique opportunity to require an M3 E30 (European spec = 8661 built) in top condition and ready for its second life. And remember the M3 was a legend in its time. And widely regarded as one of the best "driver's" cars of the era.
